Education

Natalie Koehler Denbow is a 1999 graduate of Texas A&M University and a 2002 graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. She served as the elected Bosque County Attorney for 16 years, retiring from that position after 4 terms on December 31, 2024. In that role, she prosecuted all misdemeanors, juvenile matters, Child Protective Services cases and Protective Orders for victims of domestic violence.


While in law school Natalie was an active member of the South Texas Law Review and a participant in the school’s nationally recognized moot court program. Throughout her time with the program Natalie received both national and state awards for Best Speaker, Top Team, and Best Brief. Natalie received the awards for Top Female Graduate and Top Advocacy Student for the Class of 2002 and was named Young Alumni of the Year in 2012.

Community and Family

In addition to her statewide involvement, Natalie is very active in her local community currently serving as the President of the Bosque Museum. She has also volunteered with the Central Texas Youth Fair, Cranfills Gap Septemberfest, Bosque County 4-H and the Cranfills Gap FFA. She is a current member of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo “Vine 2 Wine Committee” and an annual sponsor of the Calf Scramble. In her spare time Natalie enjoys traveling, cooking and volunteering at Camp John Marc, a camp for special needs children. Natalie is also the founder of “Spirit Christian Girls’ Retreat”, an annual retreat held in Clifton, Texas.

She and her husband, Blake, reside on the family ranch in Cranfills Gap. They have three children: an Aggie, a Tarleton Texan and an active 10 year old. Blake and Natalie are members of the First Baptist Church of Cranfills Gap and lead classes at Gap Youth Connection on Wednesday nights.
